Mobile Phones and Television are Destroying Communication in Family

In our modern world, new things are being created to help humans do what they need, from basic needs like communication, to entertainment like television. But besides the advantages we get, there were negative influences. Instead of helping communication between humans, the meaning of real communication is being destroyed.

In ancient times, communication was between parties who met directly with each other, so their relationship was well maintained. Every evening, children played together in the field. But now everything has changed: fields have become tall buildings and children are busy with their own affairs. All this even worse because of the presence of mobile phones and television.

First, in the modern world almost everyone uses mobile phones everyday to communicate through texts or voice calls. This means that people do not communicate directly, which may have an impact on relationships. They do not realize it, as time flies and it influences their habits. For example: Father forgot his wife birthday because of being busy in his office, so he called by phone to say "happy birthday". In this case "happy birthday" is nothing; the wife couldn't see his expression or his face directly.

Second about television. We have never realized when we ignore or even snap at our parents while watching our favorite television show. Television seems to be everything for us, and just miss one small part, and it seems there has been a big disaster. Some people prefer to watch television the whole day to play outside which takes a lot of energy. Again, this is because of bad habits which have been formed over many years.

Just as technology continues to grow, we must also comtinue to develop ourselves, so we will not be enslaved and fall because of modern technology. We must train ourselves to communicate directly and do more things with others rather than alone. Technology makes life easier, but not better. So use mobile phones and television wisely.
